Pooch of the Month Nia Hi, my name is Nia. I was struck by a car and rescued from further harm by a couple who saw me. In the beginning, I couldn`t stand on my hind legs. Now, I can walk and I am able to run around the yard. I am looking for someone who can be patient and attentive with me, as otherwise I may have accidents (which may be a partially due to healing after my injuries). Otherwise, I will lay in your lap all day and am not much of a barker. I am such a sweetie! |
Kitty of the Month
 Sally My favorite pasttime is to hang out with people--I always like to be in the same room with them and I like to sit next to them (but not necessarily ON them). I am also pretty good at keeping myself entertained, I`m comfortable just puttering around the house, sleeping in my bed or looking out the window. I sure do like the head scratches though! Oh my! When my people scratch my head I`m in heaven and my purr box goes into high gear! I think I`m about 7 years old, spayed female, with a nice thick orange tabby coat (which, you know is rare for a girl cat). |
Pitster of the Month
 Rhino Rhino is very eager to please and is a quick study! If you want to know where he is, just turn around and he will be right there. Rhino loves to be wherever his friends are. He's a very affectionate boy that solely needs your unconditional love to get him through the day with a huge grin on his face! |
